Acknowledgement and Peace Offering: I am grateful and humbled by the communities of thought that lay the foundations for all our present and future works, the embodied wisdom and knowledge stewarded for millennia by the broad web of life in which we are embedded. Humbled by the efforts of Indigenous peoples from around the globe to protect and preserve ways of being, knowing, creating, and speaking that serve as the building blocks for regenerative design and reparative social practices; efforts which were largely unacknowledged until more recent tides in our fields. My work is situated in an acknowledgement and commitment to regeneration, reparation, and reconciliation, in hopes to be in good relations with all those who came before, all those who walk together now, and those who will carry messages and methods forward into future generations.
